Day 5 J.O.Y Club Christmas Party

Hi Family & Friends

Today is the big day! J.O.Y Club Christmas Party. The team along with several Evergreen Chapel volunteers came to get everything together for the kids. This year we had 30 children, along with their parents attend. The time was such a blessing with the kids :)




So many volunteers came to help bake yummy treats, including persimmon cake, cheesecake, and chocolate cream cake for the children.


Such loving hearts and amazing bakers!

The kids had so much fun playing games, listening to the story about the birth of Jesus, making an ornament craft, getting tattoos, getting their pictures taken, and picking out prizes to take home with them. 

















It was such a great day with the kids! Praise Jesus. Joy has been working so hard along side the team to make everything just perfect for the families who came today.

Day 3 Miho's Birthday

Hello friends and family! Today we started our preparations for the upcoming J.O.Y Club party. We have been working hard to get all the crafts and games set up for the kids. Thank you to all who helped prep stuff in LA, what a huge help that has been! :) We also went to see Miho san for her birthday. She is not feeling well at the moment, but her spirt was uplifted with the team going to spend time with her. Our time with Miho san was truly a blessing. We also went to have bento lunch with sensei at a local shopping center. We shopped at OK market to pick up supplies for our upcoming festivities. For dinner, we enjoyed bentos with Mizuki san and Joy. Later we also celebrated Mike’s birthday! In Him, Machida Japan Team 2017
